Josef Salvat's Paradise

Josef Salvat, an australian but London-based musician, released a video for one of his latest, and one of my all time favorite, songs, "Paradise". With the use ofsynths this dream song (in my opinion) is , now, a 2 year-old reality. I think that this "thing" can be included in the 80s Synth-pop world, which can bring the people from this generation (80s) some sort of nostalgic feeling. Maybe Josef, in the process of creating "Paradise", wanted to "build" a "bridge" between the 80s Synth-pop and today's Pop music. Of course we can't compare that much the two "generations" but I have seen a lot of great music (including Pop stuff) made sice the 80s. The 90s were a big change when it comes to music. The 2000s brought a new "age" with the appearence of some of the world's best selling bands (Coldplay, for example). The video made for "Paradise" shows what being famous/a celebrity looks like. Some celebrities, from the music business and the "Hollyood" world, for example, mention the consequences of getting to the fame "hall". Some people don't know how to manage their fame and they start feeling depressed and, some times, they kill themselves. This video, in particular, shows the life of a musician that has a busy life due to interviews, photo shoots, etc. and how he feels after all of this. I think this video is a way of the people that think that the life of a celebrity is easy starting to consider all the bad aspects of "fame". Here's the video of this masterpiece for you to listen and watch.
