ALVVAYS in Paredes de Coura: a pleasant experience

ALVVAYS is definately one of the most pleasant indie acts out there today. The Canadian band has already released two albums and they're both fantastic. One lead singer, a guitarist, a bassist, a keyboardist and a drummer. All together form the dreamy indie pop band that played the concert which is the subject of today's review.

Last year I had the opportunity of watching them play live in Paredes de Coura, Portugal, at Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival. It was a truly amazing afternoon, sitting on the grass, the warm temperature, while watching the band playing. Everything there was just perfect. Molly Rankin's voice and the guitars were the highlight of the sound experience. 

The number one track of the setlist was "Not My Baby". Amazing beginning. Beautiful and nostalgic lyrics. 

Sadly it didn't last enough... Why couldn't they play more? Yeah, there were bands that would play after them... But it was pleasant and fantastic enough to enjoy the perfect mix of good wheather and great music. Watching ALVVAYS live is an experience that you should definately give a try. You won't regret it.
