PNAU is the name of the project from celestial dance music producers Nick Littlemore, who is also part of Empire Of The Sun, Peter Mayes and Nick's brother Sam Littlemore. The band has been around for 20 years now and has already released five studio albums. PNAU use the synthesizers massively, all analog and vintage, as they show in their video for Red Bull, which shows the band's studio in LA:
The album features 12 tracks full of wild and exciting sounds to dance to. It starts with the massive "With You Forever", with the addictive voice of Luke Steele (a.k.a. The Sleeply Jackson), from Empire of The Sun, making this a massive and fresh song.
Then, eight songs after "With You Forever", there's the astonishing "Embrace", featuring Ladyhawke, another Australia-native musician. The song starts with a synth lead, then the bass starts to take shape, the beat comes and Ladyhawke starts singing. The best part of "Embrace" is the chorus, with the shiny voice and the beautiful synth brass sound.
