Cut Copy's Zonoscope is a "beast"!

Formed in 2001 in Melbourne, Australia Cut Copy have already released 5 studio albums, including this one (Zonoscope, from 2011). This album features one of their biggest hits ("Need You Now"). This tune ("Need You Now") is a wonder made of synths, bass, guitar and drums. This album also includes "Alisa" which was made with an interesting technique that every guitar can use: screaming in front of the guitar. For this the player needs an amplifier and (obviously) the guitar. It's easy to find this techinque almost in the end of the song. The band also released a bunch of videos on YouTube about the process of "creating" "Zonoscope". Having bands from the 80s as inspiration (The Human League, Eurythmics, etc.) helped them bring the 80s back to our generation. "Alisa" and "Need You Now" aren't the only cool songs from this record. "Hanging Onto Every Heartbeat", "Blink And You'll Miss A Revolution" and "Pharaohs and Pyramids" are three other awesome synth-made tunes. Well, the album itself is a "beast" (in a good way, of course). Having toured around the world they are one of the best new wave/indie rock bands out there. Here's the video of "Need You Now", which is part of this record (Zonoscope).
